Proximo Releases Two New Texas Ads Highlighting Fight to Make Health Care More Affordable for Latino Families

Part of Proximo's $1 million statewide education campaign, the new ads urge Rep. Vicente Gonzalez to continue fighting for Texas families and supporting the Health Care Affordability Act (H.R. 247)

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Proximo, a Latino-led nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering the Latino community, today announced the release of two new TV and digital advertisements as part of its $1 million Texas campaign highlighting legislation that advances opportunity, affordability, and accountability for Latino families.

The new ads, "Earned" and "Pagarlo," spotlight Rep. Vicente Gonzalez's support for H.R. 247, the Health Care Affordability Act, and encourage him to continue fighting to lower health care costs for working families across Texas and the country.

The ads are the latest phase of Proximo's Texas paid media campaign highlighting Rep. Vicente Gonzalez’s work and continue the organization's effort to educate Latino communities about federal legislation that impacts their everyday lives.

The campaign follows Proximo's recent announcement endorsing six House bills that advance opportunity, affordability, and accountability for the Latino community. Together, these legislative priorities reflect Proximo's commitment to educating Latino voters about the policies and elected leaders working to strengthen economic security, improve access to affordable health care, and create greater opportunity for families across the country.
