Proximo Launches Ad Urging Texas Families to Tell Rep. Henry Cuellar to Continue to Fight to Lower Costs

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Proximo, a Latino-led 501(c)(4) nonprofit dedicated to empowering the Latino community with the knowledge and tools to shape what’s next for our democracy, today announced the launch of a digital advertising campaign in the Laredo and Harlingen media markets highlighting Congressman Henry Cuellar’s efforts to deliver for Texas families.

The ad, “Henry Delivers,” highlights Cuellar’s work to expand job training and apprenticeships, support small businesses, and make health care and homeownership more affordable.
The ad urges Cuellar to continue his work on legislation to expand opportunities for workers, including H.R. 2353 (115th Congress), as well as his support for H.R. 4776, the SPEED Act, which would advance permitting reform and make it easier for small businesses and other projects to move forward.
“Henry Delivers” emphasizes Cuellar’s background as the first person in his family to attend college and his focus on helping Texas families get ahead as they face rising costs.
