WASHINGTON, D.C. — Proximo, a Latino-led 501(c)(4) nonprofit dedicated to empowering the Latino community with the knowledge and tools to shape what’s next for our democracy, today announced the launch of a new TV and digital advertising campaign in Albuquerque highlighting Congressman Gabe Vasquez’s efforts to lower costs and deliver for Southern New Mexico families.

The 30-second ad, “Gabe Knows,” highlights Vasquez’s work to make health care and home prices more affordable, protect New Mexico’s water and public lands, and secure funding for military bases and fire prevention.
The ad highlights Vasquez’s bipartisan work on legislation to protect New Mexico’s public lands, including H.R. 9167, the Public Lands Act, as well as his work to secure millions of dollars for New Mexico military bases and fire prevention through the National Defense Authorization Act.
“Gabe Knows” emphasizes Vasquez’s background as the son of a single mother and his understanding of the challenges facing families across Southern New Mexico.
